Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 3 p.m., Chief Bernadette DiPino will hold a Semi-Annual awards ceremony.  The ceremony will be held in the 2nd Floor Community Room at the Sarasota Police Department, 2099 Adams Lane, Sarasota. 

Awards presented during the ceremony will include: Armed Forces Service Award, Citizen Certificate of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, Life Saving Medal, Unit Commendations and Unit Citations.

The ceremony is open to friends, family, residents, community leaders and the media. Those planning to attend are asked to arrive at 2:45 p.m. so the ceremony can begin on time.

The ceremony will also be streamed live on the Sarasota Police Department Facebook page (www.facebook.com/SarasotaPoliceDepartment) and Twitter (www.twitter.com/SarasotaPD).
