The Sarasota Police Department will take social media followers on another “virtual ride-along.” Wednesday, October 17, 2018, beginning at 7:30 a.m., Twitter users can “ride along” for another ‘Tweet from the Beat’ with Traffic Unit Officers during day shift as they focus on high visibility enforcement in the City of Sarasota. The high visibility enforcement is to improve pedestrian and bicycle safety.
Officer Jason Frank will share what he says and does while on patrol through texts, videos, GIFs and various photos. Partnership Policing Communications Coordinator Genevieve Judge will tweet on behalf of Officer Frank. Followers on Twitter @SarasotaPD will be able to ask questions and interact with the Sarasota Police Department while they are on patrol.
