The Sarasota Police Department is informing the public that Derrick Wesley Speed, 38, has registered as a Sexual Predator living in the City of Sarasota.  Speed’s address is 4703 North Tamiami Trail, Room #103, Sarasota.  This is the address for the Flamingo Inn.  Speed can use their address.

Speed was designated as a Sexual Predator in 2006 in Pinellas County.  His past charges include sexual battery with a victim 12 years or older where he coerced the victim by threat of force or violence.  Speed is 6’5” tall, 190 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes.
