Two juveniles are facing charges of Robbery with a Firearm (felony) following a robbery attempt and shooting at 1201 Signal Pointe Circle, Sarasota, just before 5 p.m., on Tuesday, April 23, 2019.  Detectives do not believe the incident was random and the victim and suspects knew one another.  All individuals who were involved have been identified and the public is not in any danger.

The following suspects have been arrested and charged.  Per F.S.S. 985.04 (2) (a) 1., information about juveniles charged with felonies is public record. 

• Joshua Adderly, 16, of Sarasota
• Charge:  Robbery with a Firearm
• Dieumel Dimanche, 15, of Sarasota
• Charge:  Robbery with a Firearm

This incident remains under investigation and additional charges could be forthcoming with other individuals involved.  A 15-year-old male, who is also a suspect in this incident, remains at All Children’s Hospital with a gunshot wound to his arm. 

Sarasota Police Officers were originally dispatched to a robbery with a firearm on Signal Pointe Circle.  Four teenagers were contacted on scene by Officers.  Adderly and Dimanche and an additional juvenile were transported to Sarasota Police Department Headquarters to be questioned and the gunshot victim was taken by medical helicopter to All Children’s Hospital.
