Johnny Belvin, 25, of Sarasota, and Eunique Arnold, 21, of Sarasota, have both been arrested and are facing multiple felony charges following a traffic stop Thursday afternoon.

At 12:45 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2019, Officers observed a truck with dark tinted windows traveling northbound on Dixie Avenue from 21^st Street.  As Officers conducted a traffic stop, the truck quickly pulled into a driveway on 24^th Street.

Inside the vehicle were five individuals.  While interviews were being conducted, Officers searched the vehicle and located 446.2 grams of marijuana, a Draco AK pistol, a Glock model 27 .40 caliber handgun and ammunition.

Belvin is facing charges of:

• Possession of a Firearm by a Florida Convicted Felon (felony)
• Carrying a Concealed Firearm (felony)
• Possession of Marijuana more than 20 grams (felony)
• Use of a weapon during a Criminal Offense (felony)

Arnold is facing charges of:

• Possession of Marijuana more than 20 grams (felony)
• Use of a weapon during a Criminal Offense (felony)
