On Friday, July 26, 2019, at approximately 7:10pm, detectives with the Sarasota Police Department arrested Bicente V. Morales, age 43, on a charge of Sexual Battery of a Victim Under 12.  Morales is a pastor at the House of Restoration Ministry, 2909 Pershing Avenue, Sarasota.

On July 26, 2019, Detectives were contacted by Manatee County Children Services reference to a sexual battery of a female victim, 6 years old.  The victim told her mother that her uncle, Morales, inappropriately touched her at his home which serves also at the church, 2909 Pershing Avenue, Sarasota.  Detectives are aware of at least three incidents involving inappropriate behavior with the victim and Morales.
