Effective immediately, the new phone number for the Sarasota Police Department is 941-263-6773.  Old numbers for the agency will no longer work.

The City of Sarasota switched phone companies and received updated equipment with new numbers for every extension at the Sarasota Police Department.

Dispatch, which is run by the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, will not have a number change and the non-emergency number will remain 941-316-1201 / 941-316-1199.

The Sarasota Police Department asks that you share this information with family, friends, social media followers, viewers and readers as much as possible.
