Sarasota Police Chief Rex Troche held the Sarasota Police Department 2022 Annual Awards Ceremony Wednesday, May 17, 2023.  The ceremony was held at the Sarasota Police Department, 2099 Adams Lane, Sarasota.

Awards presented during the ceremony included:

• Sworn Supervisor of the Year,
• Officer of the Year,
• Detective of the Year,
• Civilian of the Year,
• Meritorious Service Medals,
• Unit Commendations,
• Unit Citations,
• Citizen's Certificate of Merit.
