Sarasota Police investigate Friday night shootings

Sarasota Police are investigating a shooting in the 1400 block of 32nd Street, west of Booker High School.

There is NO THREAT or active shooter at Booker HS. The shooting was reported around 8:30 p.m. Friday.

There are no injuries or property damage. The public is not in any danger. This shooting is under investigation.

UPDATE:

Sarasota Police responded to a shooting shortly after midnight in the 2000 block of 4th Street. No injuries or property damage. A suspect has been arrested, but the shooting remains under investigation.
