On Thursday, April 18, 2024, Sarasota Police Chief Rex Troche held a swearing-in ceremony for nine new Police Officers at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex. Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody joined the milestone occasion as a guest speaker.

The following Officers join the Sarasota Police Department as 2^nd Class Probation:

• Leslie Kismartoni
• Dominika Kluszczynska
• Zachary Manning
• Jamisha Peterson
• Kassidee Plumley
• Joseph Saia
